iRacing AI Adds Four Cars, 11 Track Configurations for 2025 Season 3
June 10th, 2025 by Chris Leone
iRacing’s extensive list of AI-enabled content will expand substantially for 2025 Season 3. Our newest release will add a total of four cars, including the all-new Ferrari 296 Challenge, and 11 layouts across four tracks, including all seven layouts at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend.
Joining the Ferrari 296 Challenge on the car unlock list are the Audi R18 and Porsche 919 LMP1 cars, as well as the Silver Crown. This trio of vehicles represents some of iRacing’s highest-powered and most challenging cars to drive, and all three remain highly popular with those who continue to race them each season.
Alongside The Bend, Daytona International Speedway can also say that all of its configurations are unlocked for AI use thanks to the addition of the 2008 Moto and Short layouts. Completing the track list are the refreshed versions of Iowa Speedway’s Oval layout and Richmond Raceway. (Iowa’s previous version, now renamed Oval – 2011, remains available for AI use as well.)
Wrapping up the list of unlocks are five Formula Cars that will now be rain-enabled for AI to go with their rain tire releases. The Dallara IR18, Lotus 79, Skip Barber Formula 2000, and both the Honda and Toyota variants of the Super Formula SF23 are all ready for the wet. Finally, users will once again see an extensive refresh to the opponent car color combinations, with dozens of additional sponsors, many of which are new to the paint booth as well.
As always, iRacing AI-enabled content can be used in both single-player and hosted multiplayer sessions.
